Meet Grace

At the heart of BoatHub is Grace, a specially adapted V20 Wheelyboat designed to make time on the water more accessible, comfortable and enjoyable for wheelchair users.

Based on the proven Coulam V20 platform, Grace has been customised to create an experience that is as close as possible to that of an able-bodied boater, while still providing the safety, support and accessibility features needed for independent and assisted access alike.

The boat features a fully accessible bow door with an electric winch system, allowing wheelchair users to board safely and smoothly directly from the pontoon. Grace will be moored alongside a specially designed floating pontoon system surrounding the boat, making access straightforward from arrival right through to boarding and disembarking.

To support a quieter and more sustainable experience on Dublin Bay, Grace is powered by an electric engine, helping reduce noise, vibration and environmental impact while providing a calm and enjoyable trip on the water.

Flexible Onboard Layout

The layout onboard has also been designed with flexibility in mind. Removable seating allows different loading configurations depending on the needs of the group, making space for wheelchairs, companions or additional passengers where required.

Every part of the design has focused on creating a boating experience that feels welcoming, practical and inclusive without losing the fun, freedom and independence that being on the water should bring.
